8 a.m - 12 p.m. — Class visits
Join your student in one or two of their favorite classes. Faculty will plan for extra seats.

Families are invited to experience WWU's newest climbing wall during this session. Parents and/or families must be accompanied by a WWU student. Spectators welcome. Climbing spots must be reserved.

WWU's first-year college student mentor program is in its 15th year serving and supporting the students of WWU. Swing by during this come-and-go and meet our mentors, ask questions about our program, or inquire about additional support and services for your student.

Families are invited to enjoy an ice cream cone at the oldest candy store in Walla Walla. A WWU representative will be on site at Bright’s to purchase ice cream for the whole family!

After Vespers — Missions Fair
Visit booths featuring photographs and souvenirs from countries where student missionaries have served or are presently serving. Encourage a current student missionary by sending a note, and visit with returned students.

ASWWU Outdoors is hosting a family-friendly hike. Dress for cool weather, including hiking or walking shoes (might be muddy), bring water, and meet at the University Bookstore by 3:25 p.m. or at Bennington Lake at 4 p.m. Hikers must provide their own transportation.

The Symphony Orchestra will be performing several inspiring works. Among them, Finlandia by Sibelius, a Brahms Chorale Prelude- “O God, Thou Holiest,” the Fugue from Symphony No. 4 by Charles Ives, which is based on the hymn Holy, Holy, Holy, featuring Dr. Kraig Scott on the organ, and more!

7:30-9 p.m. — Observatory Open*
The Physics Department invites you to come look through the telescope on top of Kretschmar Hall. Weather permitting, the observatory will be open 7:30-9:00pm on Saturday evening. To get to the observatory, take the middle stairwell in Kretschmar Hall (the one next to the CHE office) to the 3rd floor. The door leading up from 3rd floor will be open during this time. Key card building access.
